Halloween!

We had the funnest Halloween this year, I really enjoyed it being on a Friday. The weather was wonderful, it was warmer than I ever remember. First we went Trunk or Treating & made a haul in only 30 minutes. After we went trick or treating in the neighborhood and went to the haunted house. Jeff was somewhat of a party pooper this year & only really wanted to hand out candy. (We did get him to go to the haunted house, but Trena was a big chicken and waited outside).

Carly Turns 7!

I can't belive my baby is 7, I keep telling her she can't get any bigger. But she says "ahh mom", I have to grow up. She was so excited to go to build a bear with Aunt Trena, she had been asking for one for quite a while. She loves it & wants to take it everywhere. Happy Birthday Big Girl!!

Jaden Turns 10!

I can't believe my Jaden is 10. You are growing up way to fast! We had a great party & his grandma Linda gave him a digital camera, so look out you may photographed when you least expect it. Happy Birthday Jaden!!

Mom had a combined Birthday party with uncle Oran. We are so glad you chose to celebrate your Birthday with us!!! (We love you!)

Happy Birthday!!

Grandma Beckstead turned 90, her grandson put on a great program to honor her life. What an exciting day for her.

After we got the party started with our annual cousin Birthday Party at JoDee & Landen's house. We had a Pirate theme party & the kids had a great time playing games. Walking the plank, swabbing the deck & a bunch of idiot adults playing a pop the balloon around the ankle game. We had lots of great food & most of all each others great company. The kids always think the best part is the gift giving. (Maybe one day they will outgrow that...he he!)

Being Honest School Program!

Jaden had a program last week about being honest. All of the fourth graders sang their hearts out! (Thanks for the pic lori!)

Murray Power Days!

Every year the kids love to go to Murray Power Days, they have food, demos and the kids love jumping on the inflatable toys. Jaden goes with his scout group & we always just meet him there.

Moving on up to webelos! (Yea!!) I can't believe you are almost 10!!! Thank you to all of his wonderful leaders.

Back to School!

I can't believe the summer vacation is already over, Jaden is now in the 4th grade & Carly is in 1st grade. It will be a challenge for Carly to get up early every day, she is such a night owl. I think Jaden is excited to have his sister at school all day, both are very excited about their new teachers.

Oh thanks LaDawn for the tag...nice! I work so hard at trying to seem fabulous! LOL here it goes...

1. No patience..My poor husband and children have to put up with my lack of patience, including my screaming instead of any rational behavior. (My husband says I sound like a banshee)

2. I am a stacker, drives my husband crazy, I stack papers, videos, toys, books and anything that I can’t find a place for.

3. I too am like my friend Ladawn and have a not so attractive itchy throat. Each year around June I have allergies and I have the suck snot issue going, it’s a good thing my family has no choice but to put up with me.

4. Worrier I am, my kids make me crazy…they are always doing things to test me, riding their bike in the middle of the road, jumping off the swing into the swimming pool. I guess I can’t fault them for just being kids.

5. Procrastinator, I didn’t used to be, but since I became a stay at home mom, I find I put things off a lot longer than I used to.

6. Home Body, I enjoy staying at home, the older I get the less I enjoy the social arena, I can’t believe I just said that!

Family Lagoon Day

Jeff's dad invited our whole family to join him for his work Lagoon day, what a fun time with all of the aunts, uncles and cousins. As you can tell I spent most of the day with Carly, so very few pics of Jeff and Jaden. We are hoping to bounce back before school starts!
